Explore Medicare options at Las Cruces, Thomason events
The Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and local partners in Las Cruces and El Paso will help inform people about the tools and resources available to help people with Medicare evaluate their health and drug plan options during Medicare Open Enrollment from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rooms 111, 113 and 117 at the Dona Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel in Las Cruces; and from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Thomason Hospital Auditorium, 4815 Alameda.
Participants should take a list of prescriptions and dosages with their Medicare information. For people with Medicare, benefits counseling and flu shots are available at no out-of-pocket cost at both events. Health screenings are also available for people with Medicare at the Las Cruces event.
